She: Divine Mother

Roses, dahlias, poppies, irises
The petals, the soil, the plantings, the statues
To be around her is a blessing
To listen to her is a beautiful song
Her secret is well kept
She doesn’t deny it but doesn’t flaunt it
She is just here to serve
To be, to pray, to dance, to sing, to rejoice, to heal, to laugh
And always to love
To love inside out, upside down
Through space and time
On this planet and the next
To hold love in a way
That every tendril is both coddled and protected
And encouraged to grow, sprout, reach,
To grasp for the heavens
“If we aren’t here to live
then what are we here for?”
And she dances off
She is divine.
